Lift Light, Shovel Right!

I guess Wiarton Willy was right, because here comes a blast of winter weather.  Environment Canada said today that it will be a whopping 7cm!

But here is the catch: don't underestimate the weight of 7cm of snow when you are shovelling. The Ontario Chiropractic Association has put together a handy brochure that explains the finer points of snow shovelling, so here it is. Click below on the to see the brochure.

Please be careful not to hurt you back, but even more importantly, and this is tres important: if you have a history of heart problems, or if you experience shortness of breath and/or chest pain while shovelling STOP, and if it persists or if you are feeling concerned call 911; it is better to be wrong about it being a heart attack than to be dead!

Stay Healthy,
