I trained in Chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC), and received my Doctor Of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree in 1994. I followed this with 2 years of post-graduate training during which time I trained at the Chronic Pain Unit at McMaster Chedoke Hospital site, the Orthopedic Department at Sunnybrook Hospital, and the Neurosurgery Department at Toronto Western Hospital; in addition, I tutored students in the anatomy lab CMCC, lectured, and worked as a clinical supervisor in the outpatient clinic at CMCC. I have published two papers in peer reviewd journals1,2 and written a paper on Knowledge, Beliefs and Attitudes in the Management of Low Back Pain among Ontario Chiropractors. Following my Chiropractic training, I studied for 2 years of Acupuncture training in Toronto.
Managing your pain so that you can enjoy your life is my interest. Pain comes in many varieties; acute, chronic, mild, moderate, severe for example. Pain can be in your back (upper, middle and lower), your neck, your arms, your legs, your hips, shoulders, knees or head (ie. headaches)! You can be one year old or 100 years old. You may have tried countless approaches to your pain, seen doctor after doctor, been told to live with it, or you may be considering visiting our clinic first for your complaint. Regardless of the case, when you visit Keyes To Health, you will be taken seriously. A thorough health history will be taken, a thorough examination will be performed, and you will have a chance to discuss the findings and the various treatment options with the doctor. Your health, your ability to work and your desire to live a fulfilling and enjoyable life are at stake.
